|Coming to the University of Silesia||Going abroad|
|Ladies and Gentlemen, you are most welcome to come to The University of Silesia. Our students will be happy to participate in your lectures. Your lectures and seminars will enhance the study programmes and help students enrich their knowledge. Providing an occasion to exchange experiences and ideas, your classes will also help our lecturers (your hosts) to adopt a fresh perspective on the content they teach.||Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to encourage you to grasp the opportunity of making a foreign visit at one of partner universities within the Erasmus+ programme to teach or train there. Such a visit allows you to make new acquaintances, gain a wider audience for your educational content, make further steps on the path of your development and gain new experiences.|
|Please email us about your visit: email@example.com – we will be happy to assist you in contacting the coordinators of study programmes, institutes and departments, with whom you will consult the schedule of your stay at the University of Silesia.||Please file a programme offer with your institute/department or departmental coordinator. Decisions on your visit will be consulted with the host university, in light of its demand.
You may apply for a staff mobility visit in a given academic year throughout the year.
|Please send a filled Teaching agreement or Staff mobility agreement for training to an appropriate coordinator at the University of Silesia in order for them to accept and sign the document.||Once your visit is accepted, please fill in the Teaching agreement or the Staff mobility agreement for training. Please send the filled document to a coordinator from a partner university in order to obtain their acceptance and signature. The document may be sent as a scan. Please remember to file the original of the document, complete with your signature and the signatures of the partner university coordinator and University of Silesia departmental coordinator, no later than on your return, at the Erasmus Office.|
|If you come from a EU country and your visit is organised within the K103 programme, you need to follow further procedures with your own unit. If your university is located outside the EU and your visit is organised within the K107 programme, please contact the specific unit of your university which is a partner of the University of Silesia and follow internal selection procedure along the instructions you receive.||Once you receive a positive decision on your application being accepted, please follow the procedures and make yourself familiar with the information folder and instructions to be found on the website of The University of Silesia Erasmus Office.|
|If your visit is organised within the K107 programme, a grant intended to cover your travel and subsistance costs (flat rate) will be paid to you by the University of Silesia. You are requested to provide personal data necessary to draft the agreement concerning your visit at the University of Silesia. Please ensure the data is correct, sign the agreement and send back a scan. Please remember to file the original of the agreement with your signature once you arrive in Katowice. |You are requested to indicate the dates of your visit to the University of Silesia and inform us whether you wish to stay at the University of Silesia Assistants’ Hotel.||Please file the signed documents at the Erasmus Office. No later than a month before your journey, please make an appointment in order to sign an agreement concerning your grant and stay abroad.|
